Our Thanksgiving started a little early when we went to Dallas for a wedding the weekend before. That Sunday we had lunch at Mamaw's with the Russell side. It was a great weekend. (we didn't take any pictures :( I'll have Mamaw email me some and update this post)
For the wedding we stayed at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Dallas. It was a beautiful and historic hotel. They had a complimentary cookie bar every night...YUM! The wedding was close by at a warehouse called Lofty Spaces.
Entrance/sign-in area...I loved how the bride had pictures of family members.
Then the candy bar...
The bride and groom made pretty much everything. Here is a paper flower wall that they designed. So simple, yet stunning.
They made lanterns and this hanging that was above them at the altar.
We only got one picture together because SOMEONE took a cab home with a bunch of Aggies to watch the Nebraska game. Can you guess who?
They served delicious Cuban food and had a band. (the bride's father is from Cuba) It was so neat to see a wedding where the bride and groom had put so much work into the decor. They were so happy and smiling at each other all night. Even though I've been to a lot of weddings lately, I still love it!
